VIPs vs VDPs.....A great sermon on our inner circle, our friends that we depend on to walk through life with us. Through all those good and bad times. Are they Very Draining People who either aren't really there for you at all or just offer you the easy road. Do they really just drain you physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Or do you have the Very Inspiring People in your inner circle who always are ready to get down on a knee with you and pray. Understand you and validate you. Love you with compassion. Helping you to stay strong,not to give up! Keep you eyes on Jesus. It will be ok. This is the Season... This is the season for learning, growing, and maturing for me. And I feel so blessed and excited! God is really doing so much in our lives right now. And especially in me. It's a humbling experience when you let your father mold you, have a teachable spirit and receive not only God's grace but also his correction. Steve and I (and the girls) have started a new church, a few months ago. Started Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University and will next week start the Love and Logic Parenting class. So, I keep you posted on how it all goes!

Princess Warriors

We ARE daughters of the most high king!!! Wow... how awesome is that! Well I'm taking that theoretical and literal. I am a princess warrior! And my father God has a journey and a mission for me (and for you). I want/need to be prepared mentally (by as much knowledge as I can obtain), physically prepared ( by getting into shape and staying healthy-take care of God's temple), and spiritually (by staying in God's word, fellowship and worship). A warrior stays strong, prepared, and alert. That way the enemy has NO chance. As woman God has many things that he puts in our charge. We are WIVES, MOTHERS, FRIENDS, TEACHERS, servants, and so much more. As my favorite, Wife and Mother I pray for guidance, I want to be the kind of wife and mother that God wants me to be. I have had my own ideas of what that meant in the past, but God knows so much better what my husband and daughters need.
