Holding on to the PROMISES not the problems.... Wow, what a great service S unday ! Pastor Brad brought it home. It is so easy to focus on the problems when you think that your doing everything that you're supposed to do and everything is still going wrong. From the bills being overwhelming , the house not selling quickly, all three vehicles needing replaced, one child having health issues (minor), one with behavior problems and just feeling like you can't get on top of anything. Well, I've come to my father on bended knee. And I will hold to the promises that all of my needs will be meet, my family will be prosperous , and victorious !!
My poor baby.......... My oldest daughter Natasha (14) is home sick today. She's passed out on the couch. Fell asleep watching the Jo Bros. We got cable just in time. LOL, just last week! It was a rough night. She can't hold anything down. I pray that it passes quickly but, doesn't make the rounds. It's hard on mom when her babies are sick or hurt.
This is the Season... This is the season for learning, growing, and maturing for me. And I feel so blessed and excited! God is really doing so much in our lives right now. And especially in me. It's a humbling experience when you let your father mold you, have a teachable spirit and receive not only God's grace but also his correction. Steve and I (and the girls) have started a new church, a few months ago. Started Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University and will next week start the Love and Logic Parenting class. So, I keep you posted on how it all goes!
A another proud moment for mommy! Our beautiful Sydney "our Sydray " made her public confession of service as a believer in Christ through baptism this last Sunday. It brought tears to my eyes and joy to my heart. As she stood in an inflatable pool, with ice cold water, as the cool wind blew and the rain drizzled down. I know that this will be a moment that she will always remember. As will we her family and friends that love her. Just as the found memories of her birth, dedication, 1st birthday , and so on. Although there are days as a mom we cling to this "This too shall pass", some things pass too quickly for a mom. Those moments the bring a tear to your eye and joy to your heart.

Wow, where do I start!!

This so exciting!! A special THANKS to my good friend ShaRhonda Crow for helping me with my blog!!! And really WOW, where do I start? Like ShaRhonda I have been writing seen I was very young but, believe me it's really been a long time. I can do all things through Christ. Phililpians 4:13 So, here goes! I guess I want to share all the God has done for me and my family. And I believe that we are on a journey marked by all of the differant seasons in our lives. There are a few things that you should know about me, things that I tell my beautiful daughters often. I don't expect perfection but, I do expect a good effort and a good atitude. We all make mistakes so be quick to have a forgiving heart. Always be Prepared, Plan, and Pray and your days will go alot smoother. Be resourceful, learn all that you can and enjoy it. The more you know, the more questions that you ask better choices that you can make. And be organized, neat, and clean! Be a good friend! Do for other
