Holding on to the PROMISES not the problems....

Wow, what a great service Sunday! Pastor Brad brought it home.
It is so easy to focus on the problems when you think that your doing everything that you're supposed to do and everything is still going wrong. From the bills being overwhelming, the house not selling quickly, all three vehicles needing replaced, one child having health issues (minor), one with behavior problems and just feeling like you can't get on top of anything. Well, I've come to my father on bended knee. And I will hold to the promises that all of my needs will be meet, my family will be prosperous, and victorious!!

This is the Season... This is the season for learning, growing, and maturing for me. And I feel so blessed and excited! God is really doing so much in our lives right now. And especially in me. It's a humbling experience when you let your father mold you, have a teachable spirit and receive not only God's grace but also his correction. Steve and I (and the girls) have started a new church, a few months ago. Started Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University and will next week start the Love and Logic Parenting class. So, I keep you posted on how it all goes!

Princess Warriors

We ARE daughters of the most high king!!! Wow... how awesome is that! Well I'm taking that theoretical and literal. I am a princess warrior! And my father God has a journey and a mission for me (and for you). I want/need to be prepared mentally (by as much knowledge as I can obtain), physically prepared ( by getting into shape and staying healthy-take care of God's temple), and spiritually (by staying in God's word, fellowship and worship). A warrior stays strong, prepared, and alert. That way the enemy has NO chance. As woman God has many things that he puts in our charge. We are WIVES, MOTHERS, FRIENDS, TEACHERS, servants, and so much more. As my favorite, Wife and Mother I pray for guidance, I want to be the kind of wife and mother that God wants me to be.
