Taking a new trail with Princess Malaina Pt 1

My darling husband Steve and I have tossed the idea of homeschooling back and forth ever since our Princess Natasha (now a freshman at North Intermediate High School) was in kindergarten. And now through much thought, prayer, and research we have decided to take that "new trail" with Princess Malaina. Malaina is our 6 year old daughter. She is a very sensitive and sweet spirited little Princess. Malaina went to pre-k last year and did fine, this year seemed be alot more difficult. Malaina was having some trouble with stomach spasms or cramps almost constantly. She visited the school nurse almost two to three times a day. Many, many Dr. visits and we were told that she had IBS. The Dr. said it could be "what she is eating or what's eating her". Not sure in my spirit if IBS is right or not. But, Malaina was in a very stressful class room constant choas, yelling, and uncontrollable children. And the teacher and the school were limited as to what they could do other than trying her in a different class. Which we did, her new teacher felt that she was seeking attention and at this point her little body was just past the point of just a new class. And with my spirit not at peace, we officially pulled her from public school.
Not too mention that I have NOT been happy with ALOT things that Princess Natasha has been exposed to in the public school system over the years, especially the older-higher up she goes. There are so many things of the world pressuring and influencing our children. Not of the Christian values,and priorites that I want them to have.

This is the Season... This is the season for learning, growing, and maturing for me. And I feel so blessed and excited! God is really doing so much in our lives right now. And especially in me. It's a humbling experience when you let your father mold you, have a teachable spirit and receive not only God's grace but also his correction. Wow, where do I start!!

This so exciting!! A special THANKS to my good friend ShaRhonda Crow for helping me with my blog!!! And really WOW, where do I start? Like ShaRhonda I have been writing seen I was very young but, believe me it's really been a long time. I can do all things through Christ. Phililpians 4:13 So, here goes! I guess I want to share all the God has done for me and my family. And I believe that we are on a journey marked by all of the differant seasons in our lives. There are a few things that you should know about me, things that I tell my beautiful daughters often. I don't expect perfection but, I do expect a good effort and a good atitude. We all make mistakes so be quick to have a forgiving heart. Always be Prepared, Plan, and Pray and your days will go alot smoother. Be resourceful, learn all that you can and enjoy it. Princess Warriors

We ARE daughters of the most high king!!! Wow... how awesome is that! Well I'm taking that theoretical and literal. I am a princess warrior! And my father God has a journey and a mission for me (and for you). I want/need to be prepared mentally (by as much knowledge as I can obtain), physically prepared ( by getting into shape and staying healthy-take care of God's temple), and spiritually (by staying in God's word, fellowship and worship). A warrior stays strong, prepared, and alert. That way the enemy has NO chance. As woman God has many things that he puts in our charge.
